The journey began in 2010 when I was given the opportunity to work with the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix Youth of the Year Journey.

Participants discovered how to use the Hero's Journey model as an effective tool for developing youth telling and presentation skills!

Explored the selection of folktales which guide youth on their journeys of self-discovery.

And talked about developing community through the use of storytelling activities.
(In other words, the participants had a really good hands-on time exploring a program they expect to use in a number of settings!)
